How often does your company come out?
Most customers prefer service once or twice a week, but other schedules can be arranged. If you would like to know more about the availability of our service more or less often than once a week, please contact us.
What happens when it rains?
We'll work in most weather, but there may be days when extremely heavy rain can stop us. If that happens, we will definitely make up the service that week or provide a credit if we can't.
What about holidays?
We observe the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas Day.
If a holiday falls on a regular service day, we will make up the service that week or provide a credit if we can't. We also close for a week during the summer and a week during the winter.
Should I unlock the gate?
Yes. We do not climb or jump over fences, so please have your gate unlocked on your service day. You can provide us with a spare key or the combination if you have a combination lock. If we arrive for service and the gate is locked, we will still need to charge you for the service.
Can you work with our dog in the yard?
In most cases, YES. We love dogs! But we don't want to take unnecessary risks with your dog or our safety. Sometimes a dog will simply not allow us into the yard, making it unsafe for us. If your dog is aggressive with strangers, or if it becomes apparent to us that your dog will not let us in, then we will ask you to keep the dog inside or otherwise confine it on your service day(s). We can also contact you when we're nearby to put your dog(s) inside.
What if I need to skip a day?
Please let us know in advance. You will not be charged if you give us a 24-hour notice. If the dog will be gone from the yard for a couple of weeks, or if for some other reason you want us to skip your yard for more than a single service day, we can put your service on hold, and you will not be charged for those days. There will also be no charge for service missed due to the weather, or something that was our fault, or some other event beyond your control. HOWEVER, if your gate is locked, or the dog will not allow us to clean the yard when we come to do the work, it is necessary to charge for the service call that could not be completed.
How do I pay you?
We email an invoice to you at the beginning of the month. You can pay by credit card using the link on the invoice, Venmo us at @ScoopUpPoop, PayPal us at [email protected], or pay by cash or check. If you would like to set up auto-pay we can keep a credit card on file or you can set up an autopay check from your financial institution.
Are there any contracts to sign?
No. We can start and stop your service over the phone or by email. We do not require contracts, there is no minimum service period, and there is no advance notice required to cancel service.
Is it possible to get a one-time-only service?
Sure! One-time-only, or short-term service may be easily arranged. Give us a call, text, or send us an email.
How about special occasion service?
If you need special service for a backyard party or similar occasion, we can try to arrange an extra cleanup at a particular time and day, for an extra charge. Give us a call or drop us an email to make arrangements.
What do we mean by "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED"?
We promise that you will receive service that you are happy with. We know our business depends on doing excellent work, and it's the quality of our service on which we stake our success. We've worked very hard to make our name synonymous with reliable, high-quality service. We strive to provide excellent service, so if there is ever a time when our service is not completely satisfactory, please let us know right away. We will make it right by coming back to clean anything we missed in the yard either the same or next day.
